With Kidjo Premium version, your kid will be able to:
  • Access to more than 2500 Premium videos in 5 different languages
  • Watch videos with No advertising. Ever!
  • Store all his favorite videos in his Kidjo “Backpack""; that way, he will be able to access them from anywhere, even when there is no internet connection.
  • Play all his favorite Puzzle and Memory games online and offline
  • Access his favorite app from any device ; whether he is on the Phone, Tablet, TV or Desktop

2. After installing and creating a profile for your kid (for smart content recommendation), click on “Unlock all” OR on any locked video to subscribe to Kidjo

If you go to Kidjo and you see the Timer with the water on the left bar, it means you’re currently a Kidjo member. You should also see all videos/games unlocked when you tap on any folder.

Backpack exists only on native apps (iOS/Android/Amazon) - this option is not available on the webapp. You need to be a Kidjo member to be able to watch all your kids favorite videos “Offline”. To download a video inside the “Backpack” and make it available “Offline”, you need to :
  1. Make sure you have a good internet connection. To download faster videos, we recommend you to be on wifi
  2. Open the folder you want to download a video from
  3. Click on “Add to Backpack” below the video you want to download
  4. Click on “Backpack” bouton on top of the left bar to see all the videos available “Offline

Please note that a video which appears with some white halo on top is still downloading and is therefore not ready to be used Offline. Download process can take up to 5 mins depending on the size of the video and the internet connection.

Subscription

Cancellation

The first thing you need to know is that Uninstalling Kidjo will not automatically stop your subscription

Because the subscription is attached to your Google Play/iTunes/Amazon account, we cannot cancel your subscription ourselves. You must actively cancel the subscription using the process described in each of the following links:
If you subscribed to Kidjo through a Kidjo account, please go here: https://www.kidjo.tv/account then connect with your login info and unsubscribe.

Offline

Backpack exists only on native apps (iOS/Android/Amazon) - this option is not available on the webapp. You need to be a Kidjo member to be able to watch all your kids favorite videos “Offline”. To download a video inside the “Backpack” and make it available “Offline”, you need to :
  1. Make sure you have a good internet connection. To download faster videos, we recommend you to be on wifi
  2. Open the folder you want to download a video from
  3. Click on “Add to Backpack” below the video you want to download
  4. Click on “Backpack” bouton on top of the left bar to see all the videos available “Offline

If you’re a Kidjo member, you can download all your favorite videos and have them available Offline. When traveling abroad, you can watch all the videos that you have already downloaded. New video download may be blocked in certain territories due to licensing contract restrictions, so please make sure to download everything your children will want to watch during your trip prior to leaving your country.

If you want to free up some space on your device:
  1. Click on the Backpack bouton on top of the left bar
  2. Click on the Delete button under each video/game you want to suppress

Furthermore, if you feel you want to increase the size of your Backpack, you’ll have to go to Parents > Settings > Backpack. You can adjust the size of the Backpack here so you can download more videos.

If you want to download videos Offline only when you’re on Wifi, go to Parents > Settings > Backpack and unselect the 3G/4G option. That way, you will only be able to store videos in the Backpack when on Wifi.

Parents / Settings

When you go to Parents you will be able to:
  • Select the profile of the Kid who will be watching videos
  • Add a new profile (You can create up to 3 profiles and content will differ depending on the age of the Kid)
  • Select the type of content your kids will watch : Educational / Entertainment or a Mix of both
  • Access the Settings

When you click on Settings inside the Parents section you will be able to:
  • Limit the time spent daily on Kidjo
  • Edit and remove profiles
  • Choose languages of videos to be displayed
  • Edit the BackPack settings
  • Remove sound/music

You have two different levels of programming within Kidjo:
  1. If you trust our selection, you can go to Parents and only select the type of content your kids will watch : Educational / Entertainment or a Mix of both
  2. If you want to take full control of the program your kid will watch: You can go to Parents > Settings then select the profile of the Kid ; from there you will be able to handpick the content you want him to be able to watch in each suggested category : Educational & Entertainment

The Kidjo subscription is on the list of restricted content that cannot be shared through Family Sharing, because it is an in-app purchase. For more details, follow this link: https://support.apple.com/HT6389
Therefore, to be able to share a subscription, you must do the following in each of the devices with blocked access to the videos:
  • Open Kidjo.
  • Create a Parental Account; It will associate your subscription to your parental account
  • Open the other device where you want to watch your favorite videos
  • Log into the Parental Account created on the other device
  • There! You will find your children profiles and associated videos.
