Frequently Asked Questions

Kidjo + is the premium version of Kidjo. Kidjo+ will allow you to:

  • Watch all Premium Videos

  • Watch videos with No advertising Ever!

  • Access all your favorite videos while Offline, whether you are in a plane, train or on a boat in the middle of the ocean

  • Get Reports and Analysis on what your kids watched

  • Discover the Values and Skills your children developed while watching this content

Parental report is a Kidjo+ feature. Insight reports will give parents a detailed overview on the "Skills and Values" their children have developed while watching videos on Kidjo.

You need to be a Kidjo+ member to be able to watch all your favorite videos "Offline". To download a video and make it available "Offline", you need to:

  1. 1. Go to video homepage screen

  2. 2. Click on offline and wait until icon is offline second

  3. 3. Go to the "Kids" tab and click on  Kids Tab

  4. 4. Select your profile and enjoy all your "Offline" videos

Parent account will allow you to :

  • Limit Daily Time spent on Kidjo

  • Edit and remove profiles

  • Choose languages of videos to be displayed

  • Select frequency of parental reports (This is a Kidjo+ feature)

  • Select frequency of parental reports (This is a Kidjo+ feature)

You can download Kidjo in as many devices as you want (Tablet/Phone). In order to find back all profiles you created, you'll have to login to your parent account.

Subscription

Offline is a Kidjo+ feature. It will allow you to watch all your favorite videos anywhere, whether you are on a plane, a train or on a boat in the middle of the ocean.

Cancellation

The first thing you need to know is: uninstalling Kidjo will not automatically stop your subscription - because it's attached to your iTunes account. You must actively cancel the subscription using the process described below. If you uninstall Kidjo but don't cancel your subscription first, you will still be charged by Apple.

There are 2 ways to manage your Apple subscriptions: on your portable device (iPad, iPhone or iPod) or on your computer. Cancel subscription on iPhone, iPad or iPod:

  1. Access Settings in the home of your device;

  2. Scroll down and tap iTunes Store and AppStore;

  3. Tap your e-mail and Apple ID, View Apple ID and enter your password;

  4. Now, tap Subscription - Manage and select Kidjo;

  5. Turn off the auto-renewal option and tap Done.

If your subscription status is marked as "Subscribed" in the app and you have canceled the automatic subscription renewal, you're probably still in the trial period or your current subscription has not ended yet.

Even after you cancel the subscription renewal, you have access to the app’s videos until the current subscription period comes to an end. Your access will be automatically blocked when your current subscription period ends.

If you received a bill from Kidjo Inc after cancellation or were unable to cancel the service by the end of the period of validity, please contact Apple Support directly and they are more suited to check what happened, refund your purchase and cancel the subscription.

If this is the case, you must contact Apple to resolve this issue, as it is the online retailer responsible for all payment issues. Our group, Kidjo Inc, is the developer of Kidjo, we only resolve technical issues relating to Kidjo itself!

Offline

You need to be a Kidjo+ member to be able to watch all your favorite videos "Offline". To download a video and make it available "Offline", you need to:

  1. 1. Go to video homepage screen

  2. 2. Click on offline and wait until icon is offline second

  3. 3. Go to the "Kids" tab and click on  Kids Tab

  4. 4. Select your profile and enjoy all your "Offline" videos

This "Offline" setting page is meant for you to have full control on over the content you downloaded

  • You can choose the maximum allocation you want to set on of your device for the videos you downloaded

  • You can select to download offline videos ONLY when you’re offline

  • You can activate/deactivate any download

If you’re a Kidjo+ member, you can download all your favorite videos and have them available "Offline".

When traveling abroad, you can watch all videos that you have already downloaded. New video download is blocked due to licensing contract restrictions, so please make sure to download everything your children will want to watch during your trip prior to leaving your country.

When you want to free up some space on your device, you have two options:

  1. You can go to the video homepage screen and click on ; this will delete the video. You can do this for all videos you want to delete.

  2. You can click on in "Offline" tab >> this will delete ALL VIDEOS on the device.

Parent Account

Parent account will allow you to :

  • Limit Daily Time spent on Kidjo

  • Edit and remove profiles

  • Choose languages of videos to be displayed

  • Select frequency of parental reports (This is a Kidjo+ feature)

  • Download Kidjo on multiple devices and retrieve all parent account settings

You'll need to create a parent account in order to be able to access to parental controls.

When you are logged-in:

  • you can limit daily time spent on the Kidjo

  • you can update your kid profile (picture/name/age)

  • you can select languages of the videos your kids will watch

  • you can select frequency of parental reports (ONLY If you're Kidjo+ member)

You'll need to have a parent account in order to be able to get all your profiles back on a different device.

General Questions

You can switch ON/OFF music and all sound effect in the Kidjo on the Kids tab by clicking on

You can download Kidjo in as many devices as you want (Tablet/Phone). In order to find back all profiles you created, you'll have to login to your parent account.

If you want to download Kidjo in a different device and have all the profiles you created in new device, you'll need to login with your parent account.

The Kidjo subscription is on the list of restricted content that cannot be shared through Family Sharing, because it is an in-app purchase. For more details, follow this link: https://support.apple.com/HT6389

Therefore, to be able to share a subscription, you must do the following in each of the devices with blocked access to the videos:

  1. Open Kidjo.

  2. Create a Parental Account; It will associate your subscription to your parental account

  3. Open the other device where you want to watch your favorite videos

  4. Log into the Parental Account created on the other device

  5. There! You will find your children profiles and associated videos.
